For instance, if you make small changes such as margarine instead of butter on your toast or use skimmed milk instead of cream in your coffee.
- Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. Fruit contains natural fiber which aids your indigestion helping you to use stomach fat. Another good option is porridge- particularly for breakfast. That old saying- ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’ is totally true- do not skip breakfast as you simply feel hungrier throughout the day which severely impedes your progress to losing stomach fat.
- Do light and regular exercise, perfect for losing stomach fat are sit-ups, whilst tensing your muscles to maximize effect.
- Think positively, it is always good if you keep a kind of diary of weight loss/ feelings on how you feel when you notice a difference to your stomach fat and the whole area. This spurs you on in you goals to improve and reduce your stomach fat
- Try and break old habits and create a new routine, once you have a new routine it is so much easier to stick to, it’s just a case of making that initial break and changes become second nature to you
