There are key factor you can change in your lifestyle which speed up your metabolism and ensure you lose weight.
- Do light and regular exercise (or more demanding exercise if you feel capable but be sure not to over exert yourself). Walking and jogging are ideal.

- Avoid coffee and tea (especially with full fat milk/ cream/ sugar), and try green tea instead. There is an abundance of herbal teas available on the market in a variety of different flavours so don’t be afraid to try them and switch to them instead of what you’re used to.
- According to scientific research, being cold can increase your metabolism by up to 20%, as your body using up more energy in an effort to stay warm!
- Go to your local gym and use the sauna- check with your GP first that there’s no underlying medical conditions stopping you, but this too can speed up your metabolism by up to 20%!
